Oxford Touch player shortlisted for business award

Renee Watson has been shortlisted for 'Business Owner of the Year' in the South East Women in Business awards.

Congratulations to Renee Watson, captain of Oxford Touch's CTS team, has been shortlisted for 'Business Owner of the Year' in the South East Women in Business awards.

Her company, WATS.ON has recently launched Curiosity Box, a home delivery service of fun science experiments for kids to try out, aimed at improving engagement of children with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. The Curiosity Box is the latest project WATS.ON have done to encourage the young and old to get into STEM.

Oxford Touch Chair, Joelene Hughes says:
"This is fantastic recognition of one of the Oxford Touch club stars. Renee manages to combine her splendid business career with being a very valuable and lively member of Oxford Touch, as a committee member, player and captain of our CTS team. We are very proud of her and her amazing achievements!"

Gosford All Blacks RFC Chair David Hipkiss says:
“A great off-field recognition for one of key members of our Touch Rugby Section.”
