Gosford All Blacks will face Wheatley in the County Shield final on Saturday 19th April.

The match, which will be Gosford's third appearance in the final of this competition in the last five years, will take place at Witney RFC and will kick off at 2.30pm.

Gosford's recent appearances in the County Shield final saw them lose 7-6 to Alchester in 2010 and beat Chipping Norton on penalty kicks in 2012 after an 11-11 draw.

Matt Watts' senior squad will be aiming to secure their third piece of silverware of the campaign after the 1st XV won the Southern Counties Senior Vase in February and the 2nd XV sealed top spot in BBO Division 4 North last month.

Gosford are currently 4th in BBO Premier Division and reached the final via victories over Abingdon (39-20) and Blue Boar (14-10). Opponents Wheatley, who are coached by ex-Gosford player-coach Nathan Brooks, lie 2nd in BBO Championship and have secured promotion back to the Premier Division for 2014/15. They reached the final having beaten Faringdon by walkover and then shocking Chipping Norton 8-7 in the semi-finals.
