Meet Info: UPDATE: SAXONS will be taking a team on Saturday and a different team on Sunday. This is a big two-day festival and we want to experience it with a view to staying overnight in future seasons. There will be 3 matches one day and four the other. I do not know which yet, but still plenty of rugby for the small squad we are sending. Saturday players are also requested to be available for our visit to Fareham Heathens on the following Sunday. Chats and Matt to lead on Saturday with Tom, Elly and Jon on Sunday.


BOURNEMOUTH & POOLE “ONE DAY” MINI & YOUTH RUGBY FESTIVAL U7’s to U14’s. This is a large event organised by Sports Tours and will involve teams from outside our County. The teams will be expected to
be at the tournament venue for about three hours on the day. There are
participation awards for everyone, individual runners up medals, winner’s medals and our huge Trophy for the winning team. In addition, there are sportsmanship awards in each age group.

This sounds like a major event and will be a great experience. Saxons intention is to send a different squad for Saturday and Sunday to maximise exposure across the Squad. More details to follow.
