Prims entertained West Bridgford last seasons league champions, on a blustery night at the Raygar Sports Ground. It was Prims that started brightly and did create a couple of half chances in the opening 10 minutes but failed to hit the target. It was West Bridgford that took the lead on 13 minutes when Prims failed to clear the ball Ant Willey fired in from 15 yards.

Bradshaw scored. The lead lasted only 5 minutes this time when after a Morrow touch saw Kurt Dallison put the ball past the West Bridgford keeper. On the stroke of half time Prims took the lead when Dallison raced clear to put the ball past the on coming keeper for his second.

Into the second half and it was Prims that were creating all the chances with Dallison the main culprit in missing the target on more than one occasion where he could have completed his hat trick.
