Ingles 2 Prims 0
So today we travelled just a short journey, down the m1 ,to the Dovecote Stadium, home to Shepshed Dynamo fc.However we were facing league newcomers,Ingles who ground share with Shepshed.
So before the game started, and looking out onto the pitch, noticing that the Ingles players ,appeared to be taller and,man for man looked stronger. But the star of the show, let us know that he was going to be number 1, before the game started. The referee actually brought Anton to amend the team sheet,by making sure we put s against numbers 12,14,15. Podantic!
So as the game kicked off,on a very poor pitch, both sides matched each other, with efforts, early on from Dallinson ,Scard and Lee,however not really troubling the keeper too much. As we continued to press, and try and steal an advantage, the referee had other ideas with lots of decisions going against us,and so at the interval 0-0
Second half continued in more of the same vane, with the referee, continuing to be the centre of attention, and eventually booking 6 or more players. All in all there was probably not a bad challenge all game long. 15 minutes in,with a delightful cross and a diving header, saw Ingles go 1 up,and although still a very tight game,it was very evident, that Ingles strength was giving them the edge. Although Prims kept plugging away it was Ingles with 5 minutes to go who doubled there lead, and to finish the game 2-0 winners.
Prims m.o.m Brandon Gwinnutt, kept working never gave up.
