So today Prims made the short journey to the town ground, home of Heanor Town fc.Heanor having dropped down from a league above, have had a mediocre start to the season, whereas Prims have started well, however have stuttered over the last few weeks.
So with the sun shining and the wind blowing,Prims kicked up the slope in the first half,on a pitch which has we have to do got a mark of 1 out of 5, a pretty poor pitch really. Within minutes Heanors main man Jamie Sleigh found his way through on goal, only to slide wide. The first half was battled out well, with Matt Harris attempting to lob the keeper but unfortunately the keeper just, getting an hand to hit to tip over for a corner.I thought if we could keep level till the interval,Prims would stand a real good chance, running down the slope in the second half. Thankfully a tight half did stay level at the break 0-0.
So having been looked after extremely well by Heanor, with there hospitality,we meandered out to watch the second half, and with some 6 minutes of the half, Heanor were awarded a penalty,a little bit harsh we thought, however if it were at the other end I think,we would have wanted it.Up stepped Cory Bowler, who scuffed his shot, and Andy Fretwell saved. However in the 54th minute Heanor went 1 up,and some 2 minutes later were awarded another penalty, this was a nailed on penalty, and was duly slotted home by Jamie Sleigh.Heanor then went on to add to there total in the 70th and 79 th minute, ending the game deserved winners 4-0.
On reflection Prims never turned up second half, there appeared to have no energy, passing was poor, and generally looked like a team that had never played together, however they looked good in there new tracksuits.Onwards and upwards,it's top of the league Selston Fc at home next week,so 'A' game is required,oh and quiet night in on the Friday night?
