Prims travelled to Clay Cross in the Derbyshire Senior Cup, our third meeting in a row in this competition.
Prims made several changes due to player availability and injuries. The home side started on the front foot and took the lead after 16 minutes. Prims failed to clear a corner and the ball landed at the feet of Torrington who made no mistake from ten yards.
Once Prims started to play to feet they were creating chances and after thirty minutes equalised through Jordan Kelly after being put through by Kial Thurman.
As half time was approaching Prims fell behind when a shot by Aiden Ordidge took a deflection which wrong footed Joshua Slaney and in to the back of the net.

The second half was a fiesty afair some strong tackles, some late from both sides and either team could and should have finished with less than eleven players. Neither team looked like producing another goal until the eightieth minute when a cross from Kurt Dallison found James Allen at the far post whose ball back across the goal found Matt Harris who made no mistake from five yards out.
Prims then went looking for the winner instead of holding on to what they had and just when the crowd was looking forward to penalties Ordidge found himself unmarked 20 yards out with just Slaney to beat and the Clay Cross forward found the back of the net and sent the home side through to the next round.
