Danny Meadows, Lee Shaw and Luke Shaw were the scorers in a comfortable 3-1 win at Coalville Town tonight.

Jack McMenemy started in place of Jordan Hempenstall and Rhys Lewis returned from suspension to take the place of Matt Baker.

The Gingerbreads started brightly and Danny Meadows had the first real chance when his shot went just wide.

Coalville almost opened the scoring for The Gingerbreads when their right back sliced a clearance straight into their keepers arms.

Danny Martin was sent to the stands after he felt a decision wasn't given correctly, he joined the large number of travelling supporters. Minutes after The Gingerbreads were ahead.

Lee Shaw broke down the left side was able to control the ball and delivered a pin point cross to Danny Meadows who headed the ball back into the net.

Coalville had the ball in the net not long after but their had been a foul in the build up.

Andrew Wright and Jack McMenemy both had chances but could The Gingerbreads could not got a second before the half time whistle.

Danny Martin did not join the supporters down the far end for the second half as the referee had told him he had to sit either in the press box or the dressing, some supporters were delighted by this.

The half was only 6 minutes old when The Gingerbreads doubled their lead. Ollie Luto played the ball forward to Luke Shaw. Luke then passed the ball through to Lee Shaw, who did what he does best and fired home a 1 on 1 with the keeper.

The Gingerbreads pushed on to increase their lead. A third came on 63 minutes when Luke Shaw received the ball from Andrew Wright and curled the ball passed the keeper at the far post.

The only blot on the match came on 76 minutes when Coalville were awarded a penalty. From far down behind the goal it seemed very harsh but it was given for a push by Tom Potts on Nathan Watson. Watson seemed to be going down before Potts got near him. The penalty was converted.

The Gingerbreads were able to comfortably see out the match and get a first away win since August Bank Holiday Monday.

A delighted Adam Stevens, joined his Black and White Army in celebrating the victory at full time.
