Grantham will be looking to make it through to the next round of the FA Trophy once again when they travel to Kidsgrove FC.

It was another good result for the Gingerbreads last weekend, coming back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at home to Lancaster City, extending the unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.

The result was also enough for the Gingerbreads to climb to 3rd in the table and only three points off league leaders Altrincham.

Staffordshire side Kidsgrove were also part of a five goal thriller last Saturday, however unlike Grantham, The Grove lost 3-2 away to Stocksbridge Park Steels. Kidsgrove are also in mixed form having won two of their last five games and sit 16th in the EVO STIK Division 1 South.

Grantham manager Adam Stevens spoke about the importance of having a good cup run this season: "A cup run is a great chance for us to gain some extra momentum. We've had a great start to the season and we want to continue that by playing the same high intensity football we have done all season."

Stevens also spoke about wanting to reward the fans for their loyalty: " The fans have been great this season just like every other season supporting us up and down the country making their voices heard and we want to give something back by keeping up our good form and getting through to the next round."

Luke Shaw still remains a doubt for the game on Saturday with him still nursing a knee injury sustained in the 2-1 loss at home to Stafford Rangers. The rest of the squad is available for selection.

If the match ends in a draw, the replay will be on Tuesday night at the Meres. Kick off 7:45pm
