The Gingerbreads are aiming to recover their winning form after surrendering a two goal lead to draw 2-2 at home to Farsley Celtic. The result leaves Grantham unbeaten in four games, and now ten points behind league leaders Altrincham.
Grantham are still 2nd in the league, however they now only remain two points ahead of 3rd placed Warrington Town, who have two games in hand on the Gingerbreads.
Home side Stalybridge Celtic are currently embroiled in a battle to remain in the division, currently just four points ahead of bottom of the table, Sutton Coldfield. Form is not great for Celtic either, with just one win in their last five games, most recently drawing 2-2 against Buxton.
The last result between these two sides was a result to forget for the Gingerbreads, drawing 0-0 at the Meres.
Grantham manager Adam Stevens says his side need to be prepared of the tough game that awaits them: "Teams at the bottom of the league can often be a lot more difficult to play against. Both us and Stalybridge have targets we both want to accomplish and in order to complete those, we need to win the game. The players are up for this and are ready to compete from the off and get the three points."
New loanee signing Zayn Hakeem could make his first start on Saturday after impressing when coming off the bench last Saturday. Tom Batchelor is still suspended whilst Luke Shaw remains the only injury concern for the side.
