Monday sees Grantham travel to Yorkshire to face high-flying Shaw Lane in the first ever competitive meeting between each other.

Similarly to most sides, Grantham were beaten by the weather at the weekend, meaning that they haven't played since the 24th February - losing 3-1 away from home to Nantwich.

That defeat was the first in eight games for the Gingerbreads and that was enough to see Town drop down to 6th in the league, and out of the play-off places.

Shaw Lane, who only formed in 2012, have had a very impressive season, and are just ten points behind runaway leaders Altrincham, sitting in 3rd place.

The league isn't the only place Shaw Lane have impressed this season as they managed to make it to the First Round of the FA Cup, losing 3-1 at home to Mansfield Town. They are also unbeaten in their last five games, most recently beating Coalville 2-0 at home.

Grantham boss Adam Stevens has said his side must be prepared for one of the biggest tests of the season: "Every game is tough but this is a side who we have not faced before, meaning it is even more important to on good form for the game. Of course the conditions weather wise have not been ideal recently but we will just play our usual game and hope we get the three points."

Everybody is available for selection except for Tom Batchelor and Luke Shaw who miss out through suspension and injury.

If the match goes ahead there will be updates as normal.
