Grantham are just 180 minutes away from promotion and can move one step closer on Tuesday night against Warrington in the play-off semi-finals.

Grantham were able to confirm their place in the play-offs thanks to a 2-1 win away at bottom of the table Sutton Coldfield, where Jordan Hempenstall scored a brace including an audacious flick, to secure the Gingerbreads an extension to their already impressive season.

That result saw the Gingerbreads finish the season in a highly impressive 4th position and confirm a Tuesday night fixture away to Warrington, after they finished in 3rd position after losing 2-1 away to Stourbridge, whilst Ashton United secured a 2-1 win away to Workington to move up to 2nd.

Form has been good for the Gingerbreads in the build-up to the play-offs - losing just one of the past five games whilst the Yellows have been in similar form, also losing just one of the past five games.

Previous encounters this season between the two sides have seen Grantham fail to register a win against Warrington after losing 2-1 away from home and drawing 0-0 at home in the Gingerbread's last home league game of the season.

Grantham boss Adam Stevens has said that form is irrelevant in the play-offs and his side have what it takes to get the win: "It's been a brilliant season so far and we have the chance to make it even more spectacular but we have to get the job done first on Tuesday. We have been in great form recently, as have Warrington, but we all know that the play-offs are a lottery and form is irrelevant. I believe in these players and I know we will have a great following from our fantastic support on Tuesday night to help us get the win."

The only player definitely ruled out for the game on Tuesday night is Luke Shaw as he still nurses his long term injury. Harry Vince is expected to still be available for the tie as well as his loan extension is likely to go through in time. The rest of the squad is available.

As Adam alluded to we hope you'll be making the trip to Warrington, but if you can't we will have the usual updates across our social media accounts. There is also full match commentary on Live Sports FM. The build starts from 7.15pm
