Along with The Gingerbreads, Matlock saw their match on Saturday postponed. They did however play on Boxing Day. Trailing 3-1 in the 90th minute at home to their nearest rivals Buxton, they pulled back two goals to take a very late point.

On Saturday The Gingerbreads had a morning training session and Adam Stevens was pleased with what he saw "The lads put a real good shift in. I told them all to go off and enjoy their Saturday and make sure they're ready to go on Monday"
