The Gingerbreads return to The Meres tomorrow to take on Mickleover Sports and look to make it 6 wins in a row.

Monday's impressive, come from behind victory against Shaw Lane has given the club an extra buzz. Speaking in midweek, The Gingerbreads Manager Adam Stevens was really upbeat "Social media was going crazy on Monday and Tuesday with messages of support. It's brilliant to read and really does give us an extra boost. Coming off the pitch on Monday was a great feeling, we could see everyone gathered waiting for us so hung back to let the Shaw Lane players off and then enjoyed the reception. The supporters are brilliant in backing us home and away"

Speaking of the match against Mickleover "It's never going to be easy, they'll be looking at what we've done and wanting to cause a shock. We didn't win their last season or this, but we're at home on Saturday and we enjoy being at home." he added "We've still got plenty of football to come, and we're going to take each match as it comes"

Mickleover were due to play at home on Thursday night but it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The same happened with their Bank Holiday match, so they were last in action on Easter Saturday. They drew 1-1 at Ashton United, with Pablo Mills scoring a 25th minute equaliser.

Tom Batchelor starts his suspension following the sending off at Stafford Rangers. However Rhys Lewis is back for the match.

We have two match sponsors tomorrow they are Sabre Contracts Ltd and The New Inn Folkingham. Thank you for your support of The Gingerbreads.
