The GAFC 1890 supporters trust wil be at Lakeside today from midday until 1600 selling Thurrock Community chest tickets. The stall will be situated outside Marks & Spencers.

Over the years, Thurrock has continued to develop into a vibrant and expanding community that is overflowing with ideas, businesses and innovations.
The Thurrock Community Chest was founded in 1999 and has become one of Thurrock’s premier charities. We promote and support the vital work of local good causes and groups through constructive grant making. Working within the community, the Trust assists local groups with their fund raising. The funds held by the Trust are distributed after due consideration by the Trustees and donated to local worthy causes.
An independent board of Trustees administers the Trust, with representation from all sectors of the local community. It has raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities, support groups and community projects using simple but effective fundraising.
