Manny Andrade (co-founder), Director of Business Operations and Owner
Manny is a pillar of the community in Greater Lowell who works as a realtor at ReadyRE LLC in Chelmsford and is owner and president of Andrade and Sons Property Management LLC. Manny has lived the full Lowell experience, having graduated from Lowell High School and attended U-Mass Lowell. Manny also has significant soccer experience, having played for Lowell Youth, the Lowell Lusitanos men’s club and UMass Lowell, and having also been a player for Santa Clara in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. Manny also trained with Portuguese giant Benfica before moving to Santa Clara. He is currently a youth soccer coach in Lowell. He is fluent in Portuguese.

Lee Pender, Director of Marketing and Public Relations
A soccer fan since the days of the original NASL, Lee brings years of marketing and soccer experience to GLUFC. Lee currently serves as a marketing director with 1105 Media, a publisher of business-to-business technology magazines and Web sites. Lee is an expert communicator, having spent most of his career as a journalist with publications such as Computer Reseller News, PCWeek, CIO, and Redmond magazine. He lived in France and Holland for five years and successfully ran a freelance writing business during that time. He also has significant public relations experience, having placed articles in the New York Daily News and Boston Globe, among other notable media outlets. Lee is fluent in French. He is an avid supporter of West Ham United Football Club.

Theo Booras, Director of Coaching
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts of Greek origin, Theo, has spent his life around the beautiful game. A former Lowell High school boys soccer coach, Theo currently coaches for the New England Revolution Academy. Licensed in both Futsal and Soccer through USSF and NSCAA, Theo has all the attributes it takes to grow our youth program.

Santiago Rodriguez Rey, Associate Director
A native of Buenos Aires, Santiago brings a lifetime of passion for soccer. He has strong connections at UMass-Lowell and is in charge of reaching out to exchange students and other expatriate soccer fans there. Santiago’s native language is Spanish.

James Desjardins, Associate Director
A 20-year veteran at Market Basket grocery stores, James coordinates and executes all game-day operations, including concessions, refreshments for players and merchandise sales.

Jen Cousino, Associate Director
A long-time veteran of the retail industry, Jen is GLUFC’s official club photographer and plays a key role in designing merchandise for the club.
