Following the ESL Cup game Tuesday night where the pitch withstood reasonably well following 120 minutes of football & a penalty shoot out with heavy rain throughout the match.

The "ground staff" have spent over 8 hours carrying out remedial work during Wednesday & Thursday to re-instate the pitch to an acceptable playing standard.

As of last night, the scheduled reserve game for this Saturday looked very hopeful but following early morning rain & low ambient/ ground temperatures today - A final inspection resulted in the pitch being deemed unfortunately waterlogged & unsafe for play.

Heavy rain is forecasted to hit the area from mid day to compound the issue.

Apologises to supporters & both teams for this unavoidable postponement.
