The Bloaters' long wait is over. Yarmouth finally achieved their first home league win of the season in their first game of 2011 following the unscheduled "winter break" caused by the recent weather.
They made hard work of it, having to come from behind twice in the first half before taking what proved the decisive lead after half time.
Man of the Match Scott Woodcock equalised Walsham's ninth minute opener with his first league goal of the season two minutes later.
Gavin Norman scored a second equaliser in the 27th minute after Walsham regained the lead in the 15th.
After both teams hit the goal frame, Norman notched his second of the game in the 68th minute. Both teams could have added to their scores but Yarmouth held on to their lead to delight the home supporters on the 72 crowd.
