Greenfield progressed to the Cookson cup semi-final courtesy of a 91st minute goal from Dean Hyland. Greenfield had the better of the first half and went close through Dan Sim,Sam Jones and Conor Hughes although Llanberis did go close themselves when their striker hit the post. The second half was a scrappy affair and it was Llanberis who started the half the better, it took the introduction of subs Dean Hyland and Danny Calvert for us to get back on the front foot. With extra time looming the winning goal came in the 91st minute, Dean Hyland got his first goal for the club since joining from Prestatyn Sports when he picked the ball up 20 yards out, he beat two defenders before unleashing an unstoppable effort into the top right hand corner to seal our place in the semi-finals.
