Greenfield beat a battling Amlwch Town 5-3 in a game in which we should have won more convincingly, We raced into a 3-0 lead after just 19 minutes,Marc Gunther got the first on 3 minutes with a sublime 25 yard free kick,he soon double the lead on 15 minutes with a well taken left footed effort in. Adam Price got the third when he robbed the Amlwch defender 30 yards from goal and he ran through to calmly slot past the Amlwch keeper. Amlwch were then awarded a dubious penalty on 26 minutes,Danny Stanton saved the penalty from Chris Byast but he was let down by his team mates as Gethin Roberts reacted quickest to score from the rebound.After a lengthy delay waiting for an ambulance to come for an injured Amlwch player Greenfield were slow to restart and Chris Byast atoned for his penalty miss to score Amlwchs second goal.After a slow start to the second half Greenfield finally got a deserved fourth on 60 minutes when Tony Hogan drilled in but just minutes the visitors had another lifeline when Aaron Owen scored.After squandering chances it took until the 89 minute to seal the game when a 25yard effort from Keith Ainsworth squirmed through the hands of the Amlwch keeper.
