Greenfield eased past Mochdre Sports courtesy of a first half Jon Rush Hat Trick and a second half Danny Henley goal.We took control of the game early on and the result was never in doubt,The open goal came after 9 mins when a excellent Liam Jones free kick was headed in by Jon Rush on his full debut.The game was played in blustery conditions and the home side could not deal with the excellent delivery from Liam Jones dead balls.Tony Hogan went close on 30 minutes but his effort could only find the side netting and Gareth Henley was denied a goal with a last gasp tackle from a Mochdre defender.With the pressure building a second goal came on 37 minutes when again the home side struggled to deal with a Liam Jones free kick and the ball fell to Jon Rush and his left foot effort found the bottom corner.Just five minutes later Rush completed his hat trick with a well taken right footed shot into the roof of the net to give us 3-0 half time lead.The expected onslaught from Mochdre in the second half never occurred and Greenfield were in control dictating the pace of the game and the only surprise was it took until the 82nd minute for us to score a fourth,it came from Danny Henley when he curled his shot into the corner giving the home keeper no chance.
