Greenfield beat lowly Amlwch Town 2-0 courtesy of a Shaun Beck brace. We hardly got out of first gear and should have won by a bigger margin but credit to Amlwch who kept us on our toes for the whole 90 minutes. The first 30 minutes was all Greenfield but we didn't create too many opportunities. The opening goal came on 31 minutes when Mark Johnson crossed to the far post and it was met by a Shaun Beck diving header to put us ahead.Amlwch then had best spell of the match with 10 minutes of pressure but they still did not trouble goalkeeper Danny Stanton. We were always in control second half but needed the killer second goal, it finally came on 65 minutes through Shaun Beck when he superbly volleyed Danny Henley`s cross into the roof of the net. This enabled us to comfortably see out the game.Although Amlwch are struggling at the moment Lon Bach has always been a bogey ground for us so it was pleasing to come away with a victory and a clean sheet.
