Greenfield failed to maintain our 100% winning start to the season as we deservedly went down 4-1 to a determined and hungry Nantlle Vale.Without doubt this was worst performance of the season and the home side seemed to want it more than us.Bad defensive errors proved costly as the home raced into a two goal lead within the first 30 minutes. The second half was better from Greenfield but the damage was done in first half as Nantlle Vale were happy to sit back and play on the counter attack, they got a third on 65 minutes after we got caught on the break, Shaun Beck gave us a glimmer of hope when he scored following up after the keeper spilt an Adam Price cross. We then had a clear cut penalty not given when a home defender tipped the goal over the bar but a corner was given!,Our day was summed up when Nantlle broke from corner to score a fourth. We just weren't at the races today and can have no arguments about the result,We now need to get another winning run going starting next week at Mochdre which will be another tough test.
