Greenfield 5 Llanrwst 4

Greenfield beat previous league leaders Llanrwst 5-4 in a game which was no good for either managements health! After being in control first half we get caught with a sucker as the visitors went in half time 1-0 up. Within seconds of the restart things got worse as Llanrswt doubled their lead.However by the hour mark we drew level though Keiron Roberts and Darren Johns. It was 2-2 as the game entered the last 15 minutes then what happened was surely the craziest end to game either team had been involved in . On 75 minutes Keiron Roberts headed us ahead for the first time, but the lead lasted just 3 minutes when Mike Lundstrum levelled. On 83 minutes it was 4-3 when Tom Carney finished off an excellent passage of play.Again the lead last just minutes and Lundstrum scored to make it 4-4.As the game entered injury time there was more drama, on 92 minutes Liam Robinson powered in a header to surly seal all 3 points, Again Llanrwst came back at us and were awarded a 94th minute penalty, with Lundstrum on a hat trick he stepped up but Danny Stanton pulled off a great save to seal a 5-4 win.
