Great start to Men's Shed

3 months ago By David Munn

Next gathering Tues. 16th at 2.00 jUB. Hall

Hello Folks – We had our first Men’s Shed meeting today (9th) and it was pleasing and encouraging to see such a good turn out at our initial meeting. (10)

As a 'get to know' session, it went very well and there certainly wasn't a shortage of ideas.

From a personal aspect I enjoyed renewing and meeting new acquaintances and I'm confident that we can deliver on the Men’s Shed for Greenisland.

Things to remember for next week's meeting:

Invite a friend, this is not compulsory but it may be an opportunity to have a bit of company coming to the meeting.

Come with an idea for a project which we possibly could develop at the Men’s Shed.

In closing I would like to thank the Community Council for facilitating the meeting and for the offer of use of the premises for future meetings.

A special thanks to Siri & Janice from Carrickfergus Forum for delivering the meeting.

Best regards to everyone and see you all next week –
