Sponsored Training Day - 20th November
Its the annual sponsored training day ....
Good Morning All,
This Sunday we are at the FORT for our annual Sponsored Training Day – proceeds from which will be used to fund various areas within the Minis section throughout the remainder of the season.
Don’t forget the Boots, gumshields, fluids – the kids will be getting ran ragged!!!
If it’s wet then put trackies and old hoodies on to keep them warm.
Please ensure that your kid is at the Club for 12:15 for a 12:30 start … we will be on the field until at least 2:30
The Day will take the form of … A Rugby orientated assault course in the centre of wee pitch surrounded by several smaller grids. Each age group will go round each grid at least once, maybe twice as well as taking on the assault course. Time permitting each age group will break away to complete the remainder of the time with their respective coaching team.
Don’t forget the 2 kids that raise the most across ALL Minis age groups will receive an official RBS SRU rugby ball signed by Al Kellock or Northampton Saint’s rugby shirt signed by the whole squad who played in last season Heineken Cup final at Twickers.
If you want to hang around a little longer on Sunday our Under 15’s team have a home game against Dalziel, kick off is at 2:00pm
HOPEFULLY most of you would have received an email from TEAMER.NET, we are having a trial run of this as an additional communication method, it will mainly be used if we have to issue short notice cancellation’s. Teamer.net will issue an email and a txt message to your Club registered details, the ones you confirmed on the registration forms. If they have changed please let me know as soon as possible. I hope to send out a test invite this week, please take the time to reply to the test, so I know it’s working.
