We are now ready to get our youngsters signed on ready to play their first fixtures!

Right folks, it's time to get the kids signed on and registered to play. All players need to be issued with a player's registration card by the Yorkshire league before we are allowed to let them play. We also need to register the team with the league before they will give us any fixtures. Here's how it should work:
To sign on we need each player to provide either a birth certificate or a passport. No photocopies are allowed and please note that they will be sent to the league, so you won't have them for a week or two. They also need two passport style/sized photos. A parent/carer then needs to fill out a signing on form. Finally, to help cover costs, the club is charging £10 per family for club membership. This is at a reduced cost (usually £20) by way of a gesture by the club to new players and their families. Please note that if you are already a club member, you do not pay this again. It would be great if everyone could bring the necessary items to training next Saturday so that we can start the ball rolling. The signing on forms will be there - we'll even bring the pens!! If you have any questions please get in touch.
Finally, it has been great to see numbers creeping up recently, but we could still do with a few more players, especially those in school years 2 and 3. Keep encouraging friends & family to come up and give it a go.
Cheers,
Gav.
