Damp conditions did not stop all 3 teams putting on a tremendous display, as they took it in turns to lock horns throughout the morning.
Just as they were earlier in the season, Greetland and St. Jo's were evenly matched, with some strong running and brave tackling on display. At half time St. Jo's were one try up, but Greetland never gave up, edging the second half to finish the game 7 tries each.
The Allrounders found East Leeds a more difficult team to break down, despite going close on several occasions and were losing by 3 tries at half time. The second half was more even however, thanks to the tremendous spirit on display, but the score ended 8 tries to 5 in favour of East Leeds.
In the third game, St Jo's and East Leeds drew 7 tries each, rounding off a brilliant morning's rugby.
Greetland's man of the match(es) award went to Aiden Wright for a great allround performance. Effort Award went to Bradley Drury, who scored a great try and never gave up. Top tackler went to Lill Seal, who showed tremendous technique in bringing down much larger opponents. The two opposition teams picked out Frankie Gaukroger and James Slade for their 'opposition man of the match' choices, both for their strong running and good footwork.
Throughout the games, the spectators from all 3 sides encouraged players and cheered on their teams and were a credit to their respective clubs.
