Tring Town preview

Things are bright ahead of the Wednesday night trip to Tring Town (6.30pm). New player/management duo Stuart Leonard and Nathan Perna are delighted to have retained the majority of the squad from last year, despite interested from other clubs, whilst making some excellent additions in the form of ex-Aylesbury United utility man Ricky Brown, goalkeeper Chris Cox, full back Michael Rickard and the re-signing of central defender Jack Aris after his brief Summer departure. The club are also delighted to re-sign a former Rangers captain in the form of ex-Buckingham Town and Brackley Town striker Andy Prescott, who brings much experience to us on and off the field. All are included in Wednesdays squad.

Despite two early season losses against a well-drilled Old Bradwell and a youthful Tring Corinthians, there have been plenty of really positive signs for the forthcoming season, with some excellent individual performances and team spirit. Attendance at training has been fantastic and again the management find themselves with some enviable selection dilemmas going into Wednesdays game, having to leave players out of the squad. That said, everyone will be needed as the season wears on and each will play their part.

The squad for Wednesdays match is as follows;

Chris Cox
Charlie West
Alex Emery
Jason Riddell
Jack Aris
Ricky Brown
Matt Ginger
Nathan Perna
Jordan Goodge
Jordan Garrad
Dean Garrad
Andy Prescott
Joe Leonard
Nick Moodie
Joe Walls
Paul Thornton
