Borough beaten on points by Goole

Goole AFC opened 2014-2015 with a comprehensive 4-2 over Grimsby Borough at Bradley.

In front of a good crowd Curtis Woodhouse saw his side run out comfy winners without having to make the knockout blow of bringing himself on.

It was a good sparring session for our lads, said Nigel Fanthorpe after the game, we will have learned a lot from it.
Thanks to Curtis for bringing his side to Grimsby and we wish them well for the future. They look a useful side and im sure they will score a lot of goals this seasom.

Borough are back in action on Monday when Gainsborough Trinity make the journey to Bradley.
