The Wilderness Boys were knocked out of the FA Vase whilst their was a draw for the Reserves and win for Development.

Grimsby Borough put in a valiant effort but were unable to beat Staveley in the BuildBase FA Vase. The Toolstation NCEL Premier Division outfit took the lead in the first half the goal coming from Kurt Morley who ended the game playing in goal. The Trojans doubled their lead in the second half when Jamie Coulson formerly of Borough's effort went in off the post.

The visitors continued to battle and had close efforts from Bradbury, Fanthorpe and Debnam whilst a defensive header almost when in hitting the bar.

Closer to home Borough Reserves continued their unbeaten start to the season taking a 1-1 draw against Hykeham. The point leaves Borough Res in 3rd a point clear of Hykeham despite having played a number of games less.

Borough's Development Squad were also in action and picked up their first ever competitive win away at Manby. A 4-1 victory saw a hat-trick by man of the match Jacob Jamieson and Callum Bryan scored on his debut whilst Simon Crawczyk saved a late penalty.

Our best wishes are also sent to Staveley goalkeeper Lewis Naylor who was subsisted at half time and since taken to hospital where he will undergo a CT scan.
