It was all one way traffic with Bolsover struggling to match the one and two touch football of a confident borough team. Marc Cooper popped up with the second on 30 minutes after Trott headed back at the far post and Cooper forced home. 5 minutes later Cooper got his second and Boroughs third with a delightful finish, lifting a high ball over the advancing Andy Topham to bounce into an empty net. Caine Winfarrah nearly made it four with a 25 yard free kick that crashed against the up right and then Trott missed an open goal from two yards out placing his header past the post.
On a rare forage forward the visitors carved out a decent chance when Jake Morrison pulled a ball back to Callum Riley who struck it first time to Drurys left hand but the keeper was up to it with a good stop. Bolsover were lucky to go in at half time only 3 down.

Borough came out for the second half and didn’t really get going, the tempo was slow and needed picking up, but out of nothing Cooper collected a ball 25 yards out and hit an unstoppable strike into the top corner to give him his first hat trick for the club and boroughs fourth.

3 minutes later it was seven when Wroot pulled a ball back to Trott who finished from 8 yards into the roof of the net.
Borough were now queuing up with the visitors on their last legs, Debnam made it eight on 87 minutes with a low shot from 18 yards, Winfarrah then made it nine a minute later forcing the ball home from close range after another cross was not cleared, and to cap it off in the 90th minute defender Peter Winn got forward and slammed a rising drive in the top corner from 25 yards to make it ten.

This was Boroughs biggest win since joining the Northern Counties League in 2008.
