Grimsby Borough travel to West Yorkshire for an important game at Hemsworth Miners Welfare

Grimsby Borough make the journey into West Yorkshire tomorrow evening for a Koolsport Northern Counties East League fixture versus Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Borough will be hoping to continue the form that has seen them pick up four points from their last two league outings and the 5-0 thrashing of Premier division Selby Town.

Hemsworth come into the game in 6th place, 18 points above 3rd from bottom Borough, having been beaten 3-2 in their last outing v Brighouse Town a game that they felt they should have won leading 2-1 with six minutes to go. The Wells have two leading scorers with both Wayne Harratt and Damian Liddle have struck 12 times this season while Borough hope that their leading scorer Lee Stephenson will be able to make the trip.

Borough manager Steve Newby is looking forward to the game and hoping that their present form continues. He said that last Wednesday was the best we had played all season and the confidence gained stands the lads in good stead for the rest of the season.

For fans going to the game the post code for the Fitzwilliam Stadium is WF9 5AJ hope to see you there encouraging the Grimsby Institute sponsered Borough side on to victory.
