The Club
Grimsby RUFC is the senior rugby club in North East Lincolnshire. Our 1st XV plays in the Midlands 3 East (North) Division.
In addition to the 1st XV we have three further senior teams and a thriving Youth section developing players from the age of 5 onwards. Our junior teams have a tremendous record and a number of our under 16s have made the County and Regional Squads, while others have gone on to join clubs such as Wasps and London Irish and challenge for full International honours.

•The success of the 1st XV is the centrepiece of our activities and the winning of trophies and titles are important, but the pleasures of Membership extend far beyond that.
The Club provides a wide range of social events, a big screen presentation of major matches and the chance to meet friends, old and new in a convivial atmosphere. So whether you are a potential player, the parent of a potential player or a spectator who would like to become more involved, you will be very welcome. See the Membership section for details.

What is in it for Grimsby RUFC?
You can help us and help your company at the same time! Grimsby RUFC has possibly the best facilities of any club at this level in the country and is situated in a highly visible and convenient location on Springfield Road, passed by thousands of vehicles every day.
•Home league games regularly draw many spectators, all of whom will be exposed to your corporate brand message and publicity. Further crowds gather on a Sunday morning, as over 300 families from Grimsby RUFC and the surrounding area gather for Mini and Junior rugby coaching and fixtures.
•Although all the players and officials have other full time jobs, the Club still costs a great deal to run and depends heavily on money from sponsorship. One major expense, for example, is the cost of the very long distance we have to travel for many away games. So you can see why we need as much sponsorship money as we can raise. That's what is in it for us.

The Sportsman’s Dinner
The Club organises one Dinner on a Friday through the year, each of which combines good food and drink with at least one really entertaining top class speaker from the sporting world, together, usually, with a comedian. These have proved very popular with local businessmen. The annual dinner attracts in excess of over 180.
Companies can sponsor these events by paying the speaker's fee, and reach a large number of influential prospective customers, or use the opportunity to give existing contacts some hospitality.

This offers you a low cost style of corporate entertaining with a difference. For all major home games, you could become a Match-day Sponsor. This entitles you to entertain up to 25 guests in a private room with your own bar and a choice of sit down or buffet lunch before the match. You also get reserved car parking, sponsorship is announced in the Programme and the room is available for half-time and after match drinks. (Option also exists to include match-day mascot in this package)

You can sponsor a position on the field, anyone from hooker to full back, and receive a credit in the programme and on the website. At every game a player is selected as the

Perimeter / Club house Exterior Boards
These are 8 ft x 3 ft boards, weather proof and permanently fixed in position on the spectator rails, across the pitch, facing the Club house. They are designed to your specification and can be seen all year by visitors to Springfield Road in the close season.
•Simple and effective, these colourful and eye-catching boards represent excellent value and can be displayed for as little as £250, plus production costs for a full 12 months. We recommend agreeing a term of at least 3 years to maximise return.
•The Club Handbook doubles as a fixture list, is a convenient A6 format and goes to all members, which gives it a circulation of 500. For a very low cost, your advertisement will be seen all season as the book is in regular use.
•Combining a programme advertisement with a perimeter board is a great way to leverage the impact, as they complement each other.

Grimsby RUFC Rugby Club has much more to offer than 80 minutes of entertainment on a Saturday afternoon. We have unrivalled facilities with ample free parking close to the town centre and good motorway links.
Work or Play?
With excellent catering, from a simple buffet to a three course dinner, we can provide for up to 80 seated guests in the clubhouse and up to 25 in the Lounge which has its own self contained bar area.
•Our prices are very competitive and the rooms are suitable for all functions, from wedding receptions to discos or for business meetings and training sessions. Basic AV equipment, including a giant screen is standard and we can provide any other equipment you may need.
Wide Open Space
In addition to the internal facilities, we have space for the display and demonstration of large items such as cars or other equipment and can arrange for a wide range of marquees to provide extra exhibition space if required.
