To run the courses at Grimsby RUFC we only need 10 people per course, the cost is usually £15 per person, For Grimsby members they will be £5 per course.

The course durations are between 2.5 hours and 3 hours maximum.

Rugby Ready

Duration 3 hours The Rugby Ready course provides information on the importance of sufficient & appropriate preparation for training and playing, while reducing the risk of serious injury

Monday January 8th 2018 - 1830 to 2100
Scrum Factory
Cost £5 – To Grimsby RUFC candidates
Duration 2.5 hours The scrum factory aims to increase the number of players able to play in the scrum, particularly the front row. The course is designed to help coaches and players to understand individual and collective techniques, as well as position specific conditioning.
Meaningful sessions can be delivered regardless of numbers attending training and with minimal equipment and expense to the club.

Monday February 12th 2018 – 1830 to 2100
Managing Contact
Cost £5 – To Grimsby RUFC candidates
Duration 2.5 hours Using intelligence from the RFU Injury survey to identify risk areas of the game, Managing Contact is a practical course supported by online footage which looks at how techniques from other sports such as Grappling and Judo to help coaches develop players who are physically prepared and have safe and effective skills in the contact area.
