AGM 2014

The 2014 Annual General Meeting will be held at the Clubhouse, Springfield Road, Grimsby at

7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 16th July 2014.

N.B. – 20 members must be at the meeting to achieve Quorum. It is important to your Club that you attend.

Agenda:

1. To appoint the meeting Chair – Club President or in his absence Immediate Past President or Secretary.

2. To receive apologies for absence.

3. To approve the Minutes of the AGM held on the 26th July 2013.

4. To receive a report from the Club Management Committee.

5. To receive a Financial Report and approve the Accounts for the year ended 30 April 2014

6. To appoint the Auditors (Constitution 8.1.8.1)
a) Dis-apply the provisions of the Act to appoint auditors – The advantage of the ability to opt out of having the accounts for the year ended 30 April 2014 audited as permitted by The Deregulation (Industrial & Provident Societies) Order 1996 is taken and no such audit shall take place as advised by the Accountants

7. To consider and, if thought fit, pass as special resolution any amendment or alteration to Constitution or Rule.
a) To Increase Membership Fees as follows:
(I) Senior Membership to be increased from £40 to £50 per annum due 1 September 2014
(II) Junior registration Fees be increased from £35 to £40 due 1 September 2014

8. To elect the Club Officers – President, Honorary Secretary, Treasurer, Club Chairman and Club Captain

9. Election of other Committee Members

10. Confirmation of election of Vice Presidents/Honorary Members nominated by the Management Committee
