The Hockey Youth Trust is a charity which aims to promote and support the development youth hockey in schools and clubs. The Trustees themselves have over 30 years of experience within hockey (including playing, umpiring and coaching), with various merits and awards along the way.

The Trust was established in 1988 and awards grants to enable schools and clubs to:

purchase starter kits
purchase playing equipment
purchase junior goal keeping kit
develop zone hockey
develop junior umpires
develop indoor hockey
develop youth leagues
Grants are awarded wholly at the discretion of the Trustees and are normally between £100 and £1,200. In 2010 alone 30 grants totalling £12,059 were made by the trust.

Cyclewright is a mobile cycle repair and service specialist, based in South Cumbria. Jonathan Clutterbuck has almost ten years experience in the bike trade and has now brought this knowledge out of the traditional shop and right to your door!

With Cyclewright you have minimum hassle, Jonathan comes to you, at home, at work, or wherever is easiest for you. He then discuss your needs, agree what work needs doing, and then he can complete the work there-and-then, or alternatively, bring your bike back to his fully equipped workshop, returning it to you once the job is completed.

Also, new for this winter, Jonathan is reconditioning some good quality used frames with brand new Shimano components. These frames are shot blasted to clean them and checked for any damage, steel frames are rust treated. They are then finished with an automotive-quality paint in one of four eye-catching colours (custom colour schemes are available on request) and finally lacquering to produce a very high quality finish. The frames used are those of well-known and trusted names, such as Trek, Scott, GT, Specialized, Saracen and Cannondale, but the finished bikes will be Cyclewright branded.
