So approaching February 2011, the fund raising team had a good festive period and have managed to bank a lot of cash. We are well on our way to hitting the target set at the start of the project and this has allowed us to actually order the bar, the joinery and some of the equipment we need to install. The build itself is a few weeks behind schedule but plans are coming together for the opening event prior to this years Siam. Dave McGall is working on plans to send off the old club in style and we hope all members, past and present will turn up one last time for an old fashioned club night. Watch this space for details and dates. Thanks to everyone who has helped in this stage of the project, especially those who have agreed to put money in.
