Woking College entered two teams in their first ever Rugby League tournament as College Rugby League was played for the first time ever in Surrey.

Filton College took home the title after beating Feltham Sixth Form in the Final of the London Broncos College 9s festival last Wednesday at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford which also included teams from Carshalton and Imperial. Adam Kyle, London Broncos Development Officer commented “It was fantastic to see colleges playing Rugby League for the first time, the new college had a great experience and the day was an overall success”. Filton advanced to the final after an unbeaten run to face Feltham who secured their place after a close game against Woking College A.
