Both teams played out a nil-nil draw in a tense game on a sticky surface. Chances were few and far between with visitors' keeper Harvey having a very quiet afternoon.
Guilsfield went into the match without Gareth Jones, Adam Jenkins, Sean Jones and Andy Ford but welcomed back Callum Bromley and Aaron Edwards into the team. Both sides had met twice already this season and the omens for another tight game were clear.
The Guilsfield defence remained steadfast throughout with Henderson and O'Reilly holding firm. Both our fullbacks tried to raid down the flanks with Bromley getting more of the ball in the second half and attempting to find Danny Barton in the penalty area. However, no goals were forthcoming as the sides cancelled each other out effectively.
Llandudno capitalised on this deadlock by thrashing Llandrindod Wells 11-0 and so increasing their lead at the top but here at Guilsfield both sides came away happy not have lost a close encounter.
