Guils pointless at Porthmadog
Despite a fine performance by Russ' team, Guilsfield fall to second defeat by Porthmadog this season.
Guils were very unfortunate to come away from Porth with no points. Both teams had to play with ten men each after a double dismissal in the first half. Rob Cookson shown a red card - very unlucky as it was alleged he was sent off for stamping as he was falling backwards! (Rob gets his fair share of yellows but Balotelli he isn't!) Porthmadog took the lead with their only shot of the first half and we rued the loss of the attacking threat of Danny Barton who sat out the game on the bench. How we did not get a penalty when the defender handled the ball back to the keeper in the last minute is a mystery but those breaks are difficult to get away from home!
