Guils keep the pressure on the league leaders.

Guilsfield maintained their winning run with a solid performance against the Islanders who lacked firepower in front of goal.
Guilsfield started brightly and took the game to the visitors, who withstood until the 20th minute when a Chris Cathrall run and curling strike evaded keeper Carl Jones and found the back of the net. Guilsfield had to make an early change with the withdrawal of striker Adam Jenkins (hamstring) and this led to a re-shuffle with defender James O'Reilly coming on to lead the line with Danny Barton. Home captain Gareth Jones picked up a yellow card during the opening half and this would come back to bite him in the second period.
Guilsfield were the stronger side throughout the match despite the loss of Jenkins and doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time after Barton was tripped in the box. The veteran striker dusted himself down to dispatch the resulting penalty.

The second half again saw play dominated by the home side but without creating clear cut chances. Jones picked up a second yellow late in the game but the match ended with another home goal after O'Reilly, who had provided willing support for Barton all afternoon, was fouled in the area and Barton stepped up again to complete a comfortable victory. MOM - James Henderson.

The Reserves suffered at hands of Llanfyllin Town despite leading 2-0 at half-time. The second half was a as different matter as Llanfyllin fought back to win 4-2.
