Morda Utd 0 Guilsfield Res 1

Guilsfield came away from their cross border rivals with all three points last night in a well-contested match. Guilsfield gave a very disciplined and hard-working performance to gain the victory.
Guilsfield had much the better of the first half but squandered numerous good chances, including a 12th minute penalty from George Clifton which was well saved by home keeper Josh Thomas. At the half, it remained scoreless.
Morda came out for the second period showing a good deal more purpose and were able to gain more possession but the Guils' defence held firm and the away side finished the game stronger. The break through came in the 85th min as John Lloyd's corner was swept home by Phil Turnbull.
Team: Andrew, V.Davies, Morgan, Pritchard, H.Clifton, Griffiths, G.McGill, R.McGill, Turnbull, G.Clifton, Francis. Subs: John Lloyd, Jacob Lloyd, Lewis.
