Guilsfield 4 Llanidloes Town 3

Guilsfield came from 2-0 and 3-1 down to break Llanidloes' hearts in a thrilling Mid Wales derby.
Llani began the brighter of the two teams as Guils' looked lack-lustre in the early stages. As the first half wore on, Guilsfield became more of a threat but Llanidloes always looked dangerous in possession. After both Andy Ford and Adam Jenkins had squandered chances, the visitors struck the first blow before half time with a neat finish from Chris Wilkins.
The second half promised a better showing from Guilsfield but Llani doubled their lead through Jamie Breese on 53 mins after he was left with space and time to slot home. Fortunately, we struck back within 5 minutes with Nathan Leonard finding Gareth Jones 8 yards in front of goal for the midfielder to get one back. However, the Daffs duly extended their lead on 61 mins after James Henderson lost possession and Breese sped away to score.
Guilsfield showed their character in refusing to give in and the goals kept coming with Sean Jones' first for the club - a neat near post header from a corner on 67 mins. Guilsfield then equalized through a Jimmy O'Reilly header on 75 mins before Danny Barton got the vital 4th goal on 81 mins to leave the home fans breathless.
