Rhodri Thomas will take over as HRFC head coach next season - with Bryan Craig to take a "more relaxed rugby role".

Following his intimation that he wanted to step down from his duties as 1st Team coach, we are delighted to announce that Bryan Craig will remain active at HRFC in a rugby capacity. Having given great service over the last two and a half seasons, and having remained resolutely committed throughout what has been an extremely difficult season, Bryan has decided to enjoy a more relaxed input by taking a roaming role helping coach minis teams where required. With his son and brother active in the minis, this will be a family affair. We wish him well, and thank him for his tremendous efforts.

At the same time we are delighted to announce that Rhodri Thomas a former club captain, has agreed to take up the role of Head Coach, where he will take responsibility for senior rugby coaching. Rhodri has been very successful in coaching North Berwick following his retirement from playing.
Rhodri will bring as his forwards coach former Haddington stalwart Quinton Caulfield, who was part of the Haddington team which made the Scottish Cup Semi final in 2009. They will be joined by Donald Snodgrass, captain of that cup team, who will assist with the backs.

We wish the new coaching team well, and have already started reviewing our playing strength so that we can get back to winning ways.
