Haddington Rugby Club are delighted to announce the appointment of two former club captains to coach the club's U18 side next season.

"Haddington Colts has great history and has always been a production line of talented hard working players who have for the most part transitioned really well into senior rugby.
- John Gibson
Bryan Craig, a former 1st XV captain and coach, and John Gibson, who has also led the club, are "delighted" to be given the task of coaching the club's U18s, describing the Colts as an "institution."
John said: "Haddington Colts has great history and has always been a production line of talented hard working players who have for the most part transitioned really well into senior rugby.
"I'm looking forward to keeping that tradition going."
Bryan, who worked alongside Grant McKelvey coaching the 1st XV, is looking forward to a role he held for a decade previously, where he worked alongside close friend Keith Logan.
Craig said: "After cutting my teeth in coaching for 10 years with Haddington Colts....I'm coming back to my roots."
For Gibson, the step up to the Colts environment continues his progression with the playing crop, who he has coached since they began their rugby journeys.
Craig, who stood down as 1st XV head coach in 2015, returned to rugby alongside Gibson at the beginning of the current campaign, and is looking forward to the future.
He said: "The current U18 lads look as though they are a talented bunch of boys.
"Adding the U16 players who will be moving up to Colts will only strengthen the squad." .
