Support Scott Glynn as he raises funds for 5 Charities

As some of you may be aware Scott Glynn President of Ross High rugby club is celebrating his 50th birthday year by walking to all East Lothian rugby clubs playing a game at each then moving on to the next club.

  • On Friday 3rd May HRFC will be holding a parent & children camp out evening around the pitch (please contact Zoe Munro on: 07979524094 or e-mail: zoe.munro1@btinternet.com for further information on camping out)
  • Followed by a Big Breakfast for those who camped out and all who come along to support Scott

  • The match will kick off at 9.30am against The Scott Glynn Select with our 3rd XV supplying the core of the team for opposition with any guest players more than welcome to join in (please contact Keith Wallace on: 07713887150 or e-mail: wallaceskhkl@blueyonder.co.uk to make yourself avaliable to play)

  • We will also be staging a cycle event to support this great cause (please contact Andrew Cunningham on: 07725768359 or e-mail: andrew.cunningham@uwclub.net for further info)

Haddington RFC would encourage as many club members to support the above and make this event a special one to remember.

Saturday 4th May
WALK WITH SCOTT !! Scott plans to leave from Ross High RFC walk to Haddington Rugby Club play a game..then walk to Dunbar Rugby Football Club play a game ...Then walk to North Berwick Rugby Football Club /play ...
Sunday 5th May
The Next morning walk to Preston Lodge RFC /play then Musselburgh Rugby Club /play..then back up to Ross High.

Scott will have a "POT" of 5 charities who will benefit ...but anyone can walk with him for their OWN charities ,but he would ask for 10% for the POT

Scott will be looking for people to walk with him and play...It can be done in stages ...so if you just want to walk from PL to Muss then thats brilliant..or if you just want to play at any one club superb again ( rugby rules will be golden oldie rules)

Also on the 11th May a dinner will be held in the Loch Centre Tranent to offically finish of the Walk with Scott event, It is understood that there will be many quality guest speakers that evening with many more. More information to follow in due course.
