Hailsham Town were held 2-2 on Saturday, drawing at home to Southwick

(Note to editors - Apologies for the lack of a full match report, webmaster had to miss the game due to a bad back!)

Steve Dallaway scored twice for The Stringers on Saturday, opening the scoring in the first half before striking again minutes after Southwick had levelled in the second. There would then be controversy as Southwick were awarded a penalty which was hotly contested by Hailsham players and supporters. Stuart Lewis was dismissed, with Ryan Alexander and Russell Tanner also booked after the incident, with manager Kenny McCreadie sent off after the final whistle.

The Reserves, meanwhile, had to pull out of the scheduled trip to Rye due to player unavailability.
