First Team Manager and the clubs all time top goalscorer John Moore has been granted a testimonial which will be held at Crigglestone Sports Club on Saturday 2nd April 2016. John has played for the club for 25 years after making his first team debut against Campion on 2nd March 1991 aged 16.

The testimonial will be to raise money for two of John's chosen charities, The Samantha Sykes Foundation Trust and The Amelia Mae Foundation for Poppies Cause.

Hall Green United XI, expected to be managed by John Moore, will take on a Rocking Horse/Little Bull XI managed by Eric Sykes and Terry Campbell with kick off expected to be around 13:00pm. John obviously has history with all three of these clubs, having spent 25 years with Hall Green United (Saturdays) and also playing for Rocking Horse FC and Little Bull (Sundays) in his early years.

Post-Match Entertainment will take place in The Shed, with food for players and supporters, including pie and peas and some curries. Live Music from a couple of bands yet to be confirmed will also be occurring in the Hall Green clubhouse and more entertainment also to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
