Hall Road Rangers travel over the Humber Bridge to third placed Bottesford Town on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways. Following the lack lustre performance of last weekends depleted sides 3-0 loss to Penistone Church at Haworth Park Martin Thacker will be looking to make a few changes and put a full strength side out against the boys from Birch Park.
“In order to compete fully at this level we need our strongest team out each week” said Thacker “we are attracting quality players and we need them to be available and to shine for us each week”.
Rangers have recently resigned the likes of Ben Kinsley from Hull United and Sam O’Mally from Northern Counties Premier League side Brigg Town to bolster their attacking options. “We have the quality to compete in this league” continued Thacker “providing we can maintain our performances we will have a good season”.
Rangers last faced Bottesford in a pre-season friendly at Haworth park in July when the result was a 3-3 draw between the two sides. Undefeated in September to date Thacker will be looking to bring Bottesford’s recent good run of form to and end on Saturday. Kick off will be 3pm at Birch Park, Bottesford.
